Itinerary for Lower Deschutes 3 day Fly-Fishing trip with Nate’s Rogue Adventures

WE ARE HONORED TO OFFER guided trips

This is a detailed outline of what to prepare for when joining one of our full-service guided fishing trips on the Lower Deschutes River.

8am day of launch: Trout Creek BLM campsite/boat ramp is our meet location. You will want to set up your shuttle with Linda’s shuttles well in advance. Let them know your car can be picked up at 10 am at trout creek, and be dropped off at Harpham flats boat ramp at 1PM of the last day of your trip.

9am day of launch. We should be able to get all your gear for camp in one of our dry bags we provide. You may want to bring a day bag for sunscreen, snacks, and any layering options.

Noon- We bring and serve lunch at a good fishing hole so that you can fish while we prepair your lunch.

5pm Arrive at camp that has been raced for to ensure the best fishing water and space for us to entertain you while camping.

Each Morning we have a ruitine that allows us to get on the water early if you would like. This program is designed to help us get our gear boater out early and go grab the best camps.

6am Coffee and fruit. Once you get a minute to relax and soak up the morning unfolding please return to your tent and pack your PG or personal gear and bring to the gear boat before breakfast at 7.

7am Breakfast is served. We allot an hour for this and can trim that up if guests are geared up to get on the water earlier.

8am breakfast is a wrap and we can fish camp water or depart down River.

Each day starts this way to give comfort and knowing when food and coffee will be ready.

Camp life is a big part of any fishing trip. We take pride in gathering the best of what we have seen to offer to you while you are with us. In the picture below, we have the best camp and black locust wood that lasted all night for story telling and general stoke!

WE hope that we have answered any questions yoiu may have and if not please reach out and we will be happy to fill in any of the gaps.

We do not provide waiders or boots but can assist in finding a place to buy or rent some. We do have rods and flies and leaders that will be available to use. Please take a look at our multiday packing list, waiver, leave no trace agreement and fill out the guest questionnaire so that we are fully prepared to accommodate you personally.

If you have any questions call Nate and he will get back to you promptly once off the river.

On our last day we will arrive at Harpam flats, near a town called Maupin. Your vehicle will be stored ina secure location while we are on the river and delivered that morning. I suggest a fresh pair of cloths set aside for landing and driving home.

I am very excited to get away and play with you and your friends for a few days on the Lower Deschutes River.

Amazing! You learn how to fish, kayak, and survive outdoors. The guides tell lots of good jokes.
